**Paris, September 24, 2026** – On the occasion of InnoTrans 2026, SYSTRA and Dassault Systèmes are announcing a technological collaboration in the field of digital engineering, centered on a new generation of virtual twins. The two companies are combining their expertise to explore new digital services applied to rail and infrastructure, in support of the sector’s performance.

SYSTRA, a global engineering and consulting group specializing in mobility and transport infrastructure, and Dassault Systèmes, a leader in industrial AI through 3D UNIV+RSES, are joining forces around virtual twins to accelerate innovation in rail and infrastructure.

By combining SYSTRA’s sector expertise with Dassault Systèmes’ technological capabilities, the two companies are already working on the development of innovative, value-creating digital approaches, at a time when data control, digital trust, and technological sovereignty are becoming key issues for critical infrastructure and for both public and private stakeholders.

The initiative launched by SYSTRA and Dassault Systèmes is intended to support the rail sector in moving from analyses that are still often fragmented today toward more integrated environments capable of bringing together the data, models, and expertise of the various stakeholders. This approach aims to improve understanding of the issues at stake and strengthen cooperation among stakeholders. From the earliest project phases, it enables teams to explore and assess different options, anticipate their impacts, and make stronger, better-informed, and more collaborative decisions.

Faced with the multitude of challenges and the growing complexity of transport projects, virtual twins open up new possibilities for designing, simulating, testing, optimizing and managing infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. Going beyond the digital representation of an asset, Dassault Systèmes’ 3D UNIV+RSES enable virtual twins to be connected to one another and to their environment, by cross-referencing real-world data, models and scientific AI designed to protect users’ data. Powered by Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE agentic platform, they enable experimentation, learning and innovation before acting in the real world.

“Through this initiative, SYSTRA reaffirms its ambition to be a driving force behind digital innovation in the rail and infrastructure sectors, alongside major technology partners. The virtual twin is a powerful tool for improving design and decision-making, and for supporting our clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their assets. Together with Dassault Systèmes, we aim to accelerate the development of high value-added digital services, delivering ever safer, more reliable and more sustainable infrastructure,” said Prisca Flattot, Senior Vice President Technical & Operational Performance, SYSTRA.

“The future of infrastructure will be built at the intersection of industry expertise and virtual worlds. With 3D UNIV+RSES, Dassault Systèmes is pioneering a new class of world representation, combining modelling, simulation, real-world data and scientific AI – an AI that does not merely guess at the world, but truly understands it. This is the aim of our collaboration with SYSTRA: to enable engineers to experiment, learn and innovate before taking action in the real world, and to transform what is possible in the design of tomorrow’s infrastructure,” said Corinne Bulota, Vice President, Infrastructure, Energy and Materials Industry, Dassault Systèmes.
