Addlink Software Científico was founded in 1991 as a company dedicated to the selection, import, commercialization and giving support for high-level scientific-technical software applications.The software commercialized by Addlink is principally aimed toward industry, R & D departments, computation centers, research laboratories and academic institutions. In order to better their professional activities, all of the above sectors require high-capacity and precision calculation applications, visual analysis tools, and software designed for applications development and modelling, such as compilers and libraries. We believe that a great part of the competitive, productive and creative challenges required by the global marketplace will be met through the utilization of ever more modern and efficient information tools. These tools are necessary to obtain information for business decision-making and to permit users to intervene decisively in their modernization processes. En el momento de su creación, Addlink Software Científico era la única empresa de España que se dedicaba a la distribución de software científico y técnico.
