The Challenges Ahead

We are looking for a Sales Engineer for our DELMIA Brand who helps our clients to reach their potential. DELMIA, powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, helps industries and service providers connect the virtual and real worlds of value networks to collaborate, model, simulate, optimize and perform.

The Sales Engineer will be internally and externally focused on DELMIAWORKS’s functional operations in support of customer sales and market requirements. This person will be responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives to accelerate growth in sales in the allocated territory.

What will your role be?
After an initial training-on-the-job to learn the 3DS BRANDS, in your daily work you will experience the complete process.

The internship is going to focus on innovative applications for the key industries we serve. Your creativity and critical sense will be required to propose sales solutions to engineering challenges.

The internship activities will typically include:

  • Be part of sales and business initiatives and integrate sales processes across the company in the allocated territory
  • Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective sales growth strategies and processes for DELMIAWORKS’s business
  • Serve as the thought leader for sales of DELMIAWORKS in the allocated territory regarding product requirements, selling trends, competitive landscape, marketing programs and communications
  • Facilitate feedback to different areas of DELMIAWORKS’s business regarding client needs, operational needs, business opportunities, and marketing/sales programs
  • Recommend creative selling techniques based on market and product knowledge
  • Assist in developing brand identity and recognition in the allocated territory

Your key success factors:

  • Ongoing or completed MSc. studies in Mechanical Engineer or related fields
  • Knowledge of MS Office package
  • Ability to develop customer trust through interpersonal skills and technical consulting excellence
  • Problem-solving, analytical and critical mind-set
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for sales
  • Passionate in IT software and IT market
  • Entrepreneur – Lead your territory like your own business.
  • Very responsive, proactive and team-player attitude, efficient work organization
  • Enthusiasm and determination to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused work environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English (almost B2) is necessary
