Product Overview
The DELMIA - Extended STEP Interface (MXT) product enables long-term archiving with full validation properties and nested assemblies. DELMIA supports all STEP validation properties and ensures the best quality controls for data exchange and long-term archiving.

Product Highlights
Nested Assembly Export

  • Large assemblies can be exported in multiple STEP files, one file for each product.
  • There are two possible options, global and partial. Global generates STEP files for all levels of an assembly. Partial generates the STEP file for only one product (sub-levels are not exported).

Support of FTA in STEP exchange

  • Allows the user to store a true copy of the DELMIA FT&A presentation in STEP format, and to retrieve it (WYSIWYG import /export).

  • The MXT product offers STEP Export and Import of 3D FTA, with full respect of their visual aspects. It also supports dedicated validation properties.

  • The MXT product offers STEP Export of nested assemblies thanks to new options, with the support of assembly validation properties for nested assemblies.

  • The Global Export feature exports all levels of a CATProduct by generating nested STEP files (one for each CATProduct file and one for each CATPart file in the assembly).

  • The Partial Export feature exports a CATProduct as a nested STEP file without exporting the DELMIA files referenced by the CATProduct.
