Structural Fatigue Summer Internship: User Tutorials
We are hiring an intern during summer 2025 to work on expanding our user tutorials.
Responsibilities
- You will design and create new FEA models to accompany the tutorials.
- You will develop a workflow through the fe-safe software to analyse these FEA models.
- You will verify any durability results.
- You will document this workflow to be delivered to the users as tutorials.
- You will deliver new automated tests to verify the tutorial results.
Qualifications/Experience
- You are currently studying for a Degree or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- You have an interest in Fatigue/Durability theory
- You have an understanding of strength of materials and material properties, and have some knowledge of how engineering materials are characterised
- You have exposure to CAD software, ideally Solidworks/CATIA
- You have experience of a mainstream FEA analysis package, ideally Abaqus or ANSYS
- You have a strong desire to deliver robust error free software solutions
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to present technical information in a clear and succinct manner to peers and management
- You have a natural willingness to look for inefficiencies and opportunities to improve performance and reliability
- You are able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and complexities
- You are able to work independently
