Product Overview
DELMIA Process Context Builder provides powerful tools to compute the 3D product buildup called the manufacturing context - of a process plan. The manufacturing context computed can either be the V5 client side context or the Manufacturing Hub server side context. The server side context is computed using a batch utility which uses a more efficient server-based computation algorithm and also provides the capability to compute the context during non-productive time (either based on a schedule or triggered at user request) and consume it later at a user-defined time. The pre-computed context can be consumed later as per volume of interest, or user-defined configuration.

DELMIA Process Context Builder can be used to compute a volumetric context as defined by a certain volume of interest. Users can also create a user defined context based on their specific requirements this is called user context and save this for a process in the Manufacturing Hub. Users can load and modify an existing manufacturing/volumetric/user defined context saved in the manufacturing hub for a process using DELMIA Process Context Builder.

  • Compute the 3D manufacturing context (product build-up either V5 client side or Manufacturing Hub server side) based on process control-flow or precedence relations
  • Filter the manufacturing context by attributes or as per volume of interest, or user-defined configuration.
  • Save and reuse attribute/volumetric filter criteria. Optionally, the filter can be saved against a process.
  • Apply visualization settings to the manufacturing context data
  • Create a planning context for the process plan and save the process context to the Manufacturing Hub.
  • Create a user defined context for a process and save it to the Manufacturing Hub.
