Free CATIA Design Analysis Workshop

On August 27, 2014
Dassault Systèmes, 3200 Greenfield, Dearborn, MI 48120 United States

Join us for this FREE Seminar from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm EDT

Learn how you can leverage CATIA Analysis to rapidly analyze, size and improve the reliability of your product design using Finite Element Analysis in CATIA. By using the familiar CATIA interface, you are able to compare ideas quickly and easily in the early stage of the design process, when the cost of design change is low.

Who should attend?

This seminar is aimed at CATIA Designers and Engineers.

How is CATIA Analysis used in the automotive industry?

Basics of FEA for the non-experts

What is FEA and how can it help designers improve their products without being an FEA expert?

CATIA Analysis: Workshop-1

· Extraction of vibration modes with frequency analysis
· Check for stress hotspots with static analysis of a cantilever beam

CATIA Analysis: Workshop-2

· Weight reduction of a bracket while insuring that maximum stress and displacement doesn’t exceed requirements
· Ensuring that frequency lies in a defined band

Lunch Break

Lunch will be provided

CATIA Analysis: Workshop-3

Ensure sealing pressure above minimum on an engine block assembly

Introduction to the 3DEXPERIENCE Design Simulation apps
