Fatigue & Durability Day: Getting started with fe-safe

On February 26, 2015
Coventry United Kingdom

This FREE 1 day event is aimed at helping new users to run their first fe-safe analysis and better understand how fatigue fits into the design process.

The day begins by introducing the fatigue theories that are at the core of the fe-safe technology: strain based fatigue and multiaxial fatigue. The instructor will then walk users through a fatigue analysis, step-by-step.  In the afternoon, an introduction to fatigue loading is provided, followed by a software demonstration. The day ends by looking at industry examples of fe-safe and a full workflow example showing how fe-safe fits into the SIMULIA software portfolio. By using fe-safe alongside Abaqus, Isight and Tosca, product designs can truly be optimized for durability.

This is an introductory level class. For in-depth training on fe-safe, we recommend attending the full 2 day fe-safe hands-on training course, Introduction to fe-safe

Who should attend: New fe-safe users; SIMULIA Extended Token users who have access to fe-safe but have not used it yet.
