Increasing sophistication in simulations require Multiphysics simulations which can be seen as interactions between multiple physical domains, fields and scales. SIMULIA has a long history of providing solutions in Multiphysics. In recent releases of our products, this capability has been enhanced substantially. Advances have not only been made in native capabilities but ability for Abaqus to co-simulate with other commercial codes has also been made possible.
In this seminar, we will talk about some of these advances with relevant examples, with emphasis on the Fluid domain. We will also introduce attendees to our co-simulation engine which provides an open interface for other software to co-simulate with Abaqus.
This one-hour webinar will focus on:
- SIMULIA Multiphysics
- Abaqus/CFD
- Fluid-Structure Interaction
- Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian (CEL) approach
- Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) approach
- Comparison of CFD, CEL and SPH
Who Should Attend:
We believe every Abaqus user must be familiar with the capabilities of SIMULIA Multiphysics offerings. A basic knowledge of Abaqus usage and terminology will be beneficial, but not necessary to understand key elements of this webinar. Knowledge on fluid dynamics will be beneficial as well.
