- Usage of wave6 for solving industrial vibroacoustic problems :
The intention with this workshop is to explain how modern vibroacoustic simulation methods can be used to solve industrial problems in an efficient way. Some essential concepts of vibroacoustics will be reminded, and applied examples taken from the industry will be used to illustrate possible usages of the wave6 software.
- Unsteady, turbulent, and highly dynamic flow simulations with XFlow:
The resolution of the steady-state Navier-Stokes equations has been one of the main research topics in Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) the past decades, and these numerical methods are extensively used in the industry to address a wide range of fluid problems. Nevertheless, many industrial processes continue to be developed without CFD due to the lack of appropriate numerical tools: the models accuracy is not sufficient; the computation cost is unaffordable, the simulation process is too tedious. This is the case for unsteady, turbulent, and dynamic flows which include a wide range of new applications of interest in the industry that currently cannot always be resolved efficiently: turbulence and flow separation, moving geometries and fluid-structure interaction, aeroacoustics, micro-fluidic and multiphase flows, etc. Thanks to the lattice-Boltzmann method, XFlow proposes a new approach to model all those applications in a straightforward and efficient manner that reduces the gap between simulation and reality, and make this new range of applications accessible.

For many mechanical and technological industries, multi-body simulation is now a key element in evaluating product performance at a very early stage of development. Today SIMPACK is the reference solution proposed by SIMULIA in this field. With this seminar, we propose you to discover and evaluate by yourself the contribution of the use of a tool like SIMPACK for your application. You will learn how to set up a multi-body model via the SIMPACK interface and discover the different types of analysis and possible post-processing as well as sample workflows integrating SIMPACK, Isight and Abaqus.
