Role & Responsibilities:

DASSAULT SYSTEMES SPATIAL Corporation is the heart of 3D modeling in hundreds of applications in diverse areas of engineering. We develop 3D ACIS Modeler so it can be used as an SDK for businesses outside of DASSAULT SYSTEMES. With ACIS, software developers can create and open traditional B-Rep CAD and polyhedral models, modify queries, and prepare for all kinds of analysis. The successful applicant will contribute improvements to this modeling kernel.

We are looking for a Software Developer for our Broomfield, CO location working in a hybrid onsite role. As a Software Developer at SPATIAL you will:

· Work on developing the ACIS product, which is key to geometric modeling software in commercial environments.

· Your work will enhance and support 3D geometric modeling algorithms in operations such as feature creation, editing and recognition, meshing, and CAD data preparation.

· In addition, your work allows you to collaborate with other development teams around the world.

Here is a simple question to illustrate the work: how do you determine if a point is inside a 3D triangular mesh? How would you code that? You have the solution; add it to your resume.

Qualifications:

· M.S. with 3+ years of relevant programming experience, or Ph.D. in a mathematically demanding STEM field such as Mathematics or Physics.

· Requires strong skills programming in C++

· Must have strong object-oriented development skills

· Experience in testing and debugging code is an asset

· Exceptional communication skills when presenting to a diverse audience

· Working in a collaborative environment, such as in code reviews and sharing best practices

· Experience in accomplishing complex objectives over an extended period of time

Compensation & Benefits

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Benefits include a choice of plans providing comprehensive coverage for medical, dental, vision care for employee & dependents as well as employee life, short & long term disability, tuition reimbursement, immediate 401K enrollment, 401K match (50 cents on the dollar, up to the first 8% of your eligible compensation that you contribute based on match eligibility criteria), flexible time off policy, and 10 paid holidays.

Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $125000 and $170000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
