Your Mission

You will join our growing Milan-based group of engineers (remote applicants can be considered), a key link in the value chain, connecting customer needs to our solutions. Regular exposure to innovative simulation technologies and professional usage of constantly evolving top-notch simulation tools keeps the role exciting and challenging at the same time. You will be confronted with deep technical challenges, project mgmt. responsibilities and direct customer interaction.

What will your role be?

You will work on any initiatives related to Structural Analysis using Abaqus, Wave6, FE-Safe, Tosca and 3DEXPERIENCE and optionally Vibro-Acoustics with Wave6. The focus will be on the Automotive and/or Aerospace and Defense industry, eventually in connection with other simulation disciplines and optimization, and covering the complete process from model build-up, over simulation execution and results analysis to reports presentation.

Your role will be multifaceted and diverse, and you will use your skills and critical sense to:

• Effectively articulate to customers and prospects the value of SIMULIA solutions, via presentations, demonstrations and technical proofs
• Collaborate with sales mgmt. as technical opportunity leader in the scouting and technical qualification of new business development opportunities
• Develop strong leadership to influence the account strategy from an early stage, define strategic growth initiatives and lead their technical implementation as a technical account manager representing the interests of 3DS
• Assess "as-is" business drivers & technical pains and translate them into a "to-be" solution to deliver tailored value, in a context of business transformation and process re-engineering, in discussions with engineering / IT directors and lead engineers
• Contribute to our customers’ technical evolution by implementing more efficient simulation processes and by deploying innovative methods for better accuracy
• Create and develop high value and trusted relationships with customers’ Champions and facilitate access to customers’ Executive levels
• Orchestrate and prioritize all technical activities to ensure the timely delivery to respect our commitments to customers, as well as the achievement of business objectives
• Act as focal point for SIMULIA/3DS R&D, to align market needs with internal product development priorities
• Train novice users & mentor experts using SIMULIA software to reach technical excellence
• Manage and deliver services projects to make customers experience directly the impact of our solutions, and propose creative solutions to product engineering challenges
