About the Team:
You will report to our Director, Client Services. We are a fully remote team, based on the West Coast. Travel is expected to our local California and New York offices, and to assigned clients when applicable. As a Senior Project Manager, you will not directly manage team members, however you will mentor more junior staff.
Responsibilities:
Revenue:
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts
- Manage full scope of project financials
- Support development of sales orders and change orders
Client Satisfaction:
- Participate in program governance, and manage the professional services relationship
- Ensure overall client satisfaction through proactive management
- Lead client and internal meetings ensuring prompt and appropriate follow-up
- Manage issues and guide resolution
- Oversee risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Deliver workshops
People & Process:
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve defined objectives
- Generate and preserve accurate and current project documentation
- Assure compliance with Medidata's standard project management methodologies, quality management system
- Coach new and junior team members
Qualifications:
- 4year degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in clinical / biomedical or software development field
- Work in a remote environment
- Knowledge of Medidata (or similar) products commensurate with requirements of the Senior Project Manager role
- Experience communicating (both verbal and written)
- Experience prioritizing tasks
- Experience leading project teams through collaboration, teamwork, within defined timelines
- Experience creating and delivering presentations competently with current software technologies
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is 96,00 - 128,000 .
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is 101,250 -135,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is 94,500 - 126,000.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is 84,375 - 112,500 .
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is 85,500 - 124,393.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
