What will your role be? 
As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will report to the Director, GEO Business Planning & Operation and work closely with the business leader and his team to drive the team performance and achievement of targets and objectives. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to use your analytical capabilities to provide stakeholders with the timely analyses on trends and patterns of initiatives that contribute to the business performance. You are responsible for demonstrating strong analytical skills, drawing conclusions, and making recommendation to support strategic decision-making including “what if” analysis. The role will need to have a meticulous eye for data and appreciates the process of understanding and visualizing data.

Mission
Working in partnership with the business, ensure execution and compliance to relevant processes to optimize Business Performance and Operational Efficiency via:
(1) Pipeline & Forecast Accuracy
(2) Tracking of relevant KPIs
(3) Designing of relevant reports and dashboards


The Challenges Ahead 

  • As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be part of our GEO Business Planning & Operations Team that provides operational day-to-day support to the business
  • Manage sales forecast system and related administration matters
  • You will create appropriate reports to be share in a timely manner to the sales organisation
  • Work closely with the channel partners and respective internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless channel support to the broader business community
  • Support the sales team using internal sales applications with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
  • Create content for executive presentations and board reporting
  • Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, quota attainment, discount management and forecast management
  • Manage the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management
  • Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Managers/Enterprise Sales Representatives and others who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem solving


 

Your Key Success Factors 

  • Diploma or higher in Business, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Data/Business Analyst/business partner roles providing quality data analytics through relevant and timely reports
  • Creative and analytical thinking to generate interesting approaches to answering business questions
  • Possess high level of integrity and ethics
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements and following through on execution and monitoring business results
  • You have a knack for attention to detail and meticulous
  • Willingness to learn with an open mind
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • You will have advanced Excel skills with strong competencies in adoption of technology for business applications
  • Be willing to challenge and redefine the status quo to creatively achieve common goals and objectives
  • You have excellent relationship management and good communication skills
