DELMIA, a brand of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join our Services department to design, deliver, and deploy world-class software solutions for our customers in manufacturing and supply chain in a variety of industries.

DELMIA Quintiq is an application suite that enables our customers to solve the most complex puzzles in planning and scheduling, providing an impressive portfolio of functionalities and optimization solutions.

What will your role be?

 

As an Infrastructure Architect, you play an active role in:

• Defining the infrastructure architecture for our solutions with hundreds or even thousands of users in locations around the globe, determining the best way to get the right data to the right place at the right time.
• Be involved in large-scale software implementations with an integrated, real-time, multi-user overview of all the data.
• Being the communicative party aligning between our implementation team and key customer stakeholders, up to C-level.
• Identifying & mapping the customer’s non-functional requirements, their impact on the business processes and KPIs.
• Maximizing solution value for the customer by mapping out the AS-IS and defining the TO-BE architecture.
• Setting the direction of the project team to make sure that the configured infrastructure is in line with customer non-functional requirements, processes, and expectations.
• Make sure that projects are successful within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Demonstrating configured architectures to the customer, while focusing on value for the customer.
• Be the trusted advisor for the customer on the non-functional solution.

 

 

The challenge ahead

 

• You will be expected to acquire a deep understanding of customer’s business requirements and operational processes.
• Apply that knowledge to build and integrate an SCP&O solution that is robust and scalable.
• Expanding your knowledge to other applications in the 3DS portfolio.
• Analyze and interpret non-functional needs of customers.
• Formulating value-driven recommendations based on existing solutions.
• Create and document conceptual, logical, and technical architecture for projects.
• Guide and support the customer’s project team throughout the project.
• Take ownership of the solution and be responsible within the implementation team.
• Define and execute tests related to system load, performance, and integration.
• Provide our customers a value experience.
