Industry Consultant for Fabrication, Machining and Additive Manufacturing
Role Description & Responsibilities
Dassault Systèmes is seeking a motivated Industry Process Consultant – Fabrication, Machining & Additive Manufacturing to join our team in Royal Oak, MI, or one of our U.S. offices in a hybrid/onsite capacity.
The Industry Process Consultant’s mission is to demonstrate, validate, and maximize the value of the Dassault Systèmes portfolio by applying the VALUE ENGAGEMENT framework. This role is ideal for an individual with strong expertise in machining and additive fabrication processes, manufacturing workflows, and digital manufacturing solutions.
This consultant will partner closely with Sales, Services, and customers to support business transformation initiatives by leveraging the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and DELMIA/CATIA manufacturing solutions. The role combines pre-sales solution consulting, workflow optimization, technical demonstrations, and customer enablement to drive customer success and business growth.
- Partner with Sales Account teams to lead customer engagements, identify business challenges, and position manufacturing solutions that align with customer transformation goals.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs-of-value, and workflow validations showcasing the capabilities of CATIA Manufacturing, DELMIA Machining, and 3DEXPERIENCE fabrication applications.
- Analyze and optimize customer manufacturing processes across machining, fabrication, and additive manufacturing environments to improve operational efficiency and business value.
- Support customer migration initiatives from legacy V5 environments to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform while contributing to pipeline generation and long-term account growth.
Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, additive manufacturing, or CNC manufacturing environments, including both process planning and shop floor execution.
- Strong working knowledge of digital manufacturing and PLM solutions, including CATIA Manufacturing, DELMIA Machining, and/or DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE applications.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value propositions for manufacturing and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience documenting, analyzing, and improving manufacturing workflows and operational processes to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to execute technical demonstrations, customer workshops, and proofs-of-concept/proofs-of-value in customer-facing environments.
- Strong presentation, communication, and consultative engagement skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, leadership, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Services, and Technical teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $145095 and $170700, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
