About the Team:
This is a dynamic and growing team that continuing to build on Medical Device & Diagnostic Companies. You are responsible for achieving revenue objectives in geographic or specifically-named account territories for Medical Device & Diagnostics (MD&D) companies in North America. This will include identifying sales opportunities, qualifying opportunities, and efficiently leveraging resources in order to bring opportunities to successful conclusion. In addition, as a Global Client Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships in order to remain consistent with Medidata and Dassault Systemes ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory, per targets based on position referenced above
- Development and execution of strategic sales plans as it relates to specific opportunities within assigned territory
- Represent Medidata in the field in a professional manner
- Directly responsible for closing sales transactions with clients and prospects
- Coordination of resources within sales and other departments
- Maintain and update sales plans, account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including SalesForce.com
- Be able to cover your territory in North America and visit clients when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience
- Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated tenacity and drive to achieve goals
- Strong application software sales experience
- Working knowledge of life sciences industry, specifically medical device
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Demonstrated success with process approached selling
- Understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness
- Strong business planning an Experience following a clear process for outreach using different methods (cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn)
- Demonstrated success with strategic, value-based selling
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in San Francisco, CA. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than San Francisco, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $116,000 - $150,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
