Your Mission:
The Business Process Manager role, as part of the Operational Excellence team for the Professional Services organization, is responsible for the execution and delivery of operational improvement projects and day to day support for our FinancialForce PSA tool. The role performs analysis to identify performance gaps and to develop and deliver solutions to close these gaps.
Works to establish critical policies and procedures of the Professional Services organization
Leads workshops, data gathering and analysis to structure and resolve issues
Enhances the Operational Excellence methodology for business improvement, e.g. tools, processes
Develops tools that support the processes of the worldwide Professional Services business.
Manages deployment of infrastructure needed to support and grow the Professional Services business
Advises junior team member(s) with day to day support activities
Works hand in hand with leadership and functional teams to define operational issues, develop solutions, and ensure lasting change implementation
Be an ambassador for Operational Excellence by building excellent working relationships across the Medidata organization
Provides FinancialForce support to Professional Service users
Work with internal teams to gather requirements and implement configuration changes
Keeps abreast of FinancialForce releases, features and best practices to make recommendations to management regarding implementation and lead organization through these implementations with proven change management strategies
Develops and enhances reports and dashboards for Professional Services team
Works with Business Innovation Office to review design of new features and support production issues within FinancialForce
Plans implementation work efforts and executes user acceptance testing of new features/functionality
Your Competencies:
Experienced working in a professional services organization in a regulated environment preferred
Superior organization and communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
Prior experience managing operational improvement projects
Prior experience deploying professional service automation infrastructure
Proven technical acumen to translate business needs into business requirements into functional design documents
Salesforce experience preferred
Understanding of automated testing frameworks
Experience with producing and executing test plans
Experience with JIRA preferred
Your Education & Experience:
8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or
6+ years and a Master’s degree; or
3+ years experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience
