What will your role be:

Our key mission as business consultants is to act as the bridge between the business and technical domains to support customers to identify and get the most value from their investment in the DS portfolio of software capabilities.

The graduate business consultant works closely other business consultants to support our potential and current customers to:

  • Identify and understand their business challenges
  • Detail areas of business improvement through stakeholder engagement and analysis of data
  • Formulate recommendations on how they can address their business challenges through usage of the Dassault Systemes (DS) software capabilities

You will work with cross-functional customer, partner and DS teams throughout the engagement lifecycle, from early sales engagement to ongoing delivery programmes. They will be key in supporting the teams to ensure there is a focus on releasing tangible client business value through our Value Engagement framework

The Challenges Ahead

Support the services consulting team to:

  • Develop business value perspectives for specific industries and customers
  • Develop Customer Value Models, aligning business needs to enablers
  • Support RFQ, RFP processes including commercial aspects
  • Support value assessment and definition workshops
  • Support the organisation and execution of process development workshops, providing process analysis and developing suitable to-be processes with supporting KVIs / KPIs / OKRs as necessary

Your Key Sucess Factors

Support the services consulting team to:

  • Analyse and interpret data regarding customer business challenges, and identify the causes
  • Develop compelling business change cases and roadmaps with supporting evidence based arguments
  • Formulate recommendations and solutions (proposed business processes) with supporting value evidence (KVIs / KPIs /OKRs and business case)
  • Align recommendations to the capabilities of the DS 3DEXPERIENCE platform with support from Technical Pre-sales and Solution Architects
  • Assess overall business architecture in regards of feasibility, value and risks
  • Formulate business change, migration and deployment options
  • Work in complex multi-partner client environments

Education Level

  • STEM education desirable but not essential

Experince and Skills 

  • An analytical, structured approach
  • Self-motivated approach
  • A desire to understand how businesses and processes work
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to converse with a wide range of technical and non-technical personalities
  • Business case modelling and development
  • Awareness and usage of business architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF) desirable
  • Requirements capture and process modelling (formal notation e.g. BPMN and tooling desirable)
  • Ability to excel within client-facing, multi-disciplinary team environments
  • Ability to quickly collate, absorb and assimilate information and articulate cogent arguments for action
  • Flexible travel to support client activities
  • Passion and desire to learn about new industries, customers and how the DS software capabilities can deliver business value to them
