What will your role be?
Lead the Asia Travel & Expense (T&E) team to provide a sustainable travel policy and process for Asia. This position has reporting line to Global T&E manager, who is located in France. Countries involved: China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, excluding India. You will have to ensure your team have a good understanding and successfully achieve our Global T&E ambitious objectives in line with 3DS business strategies. Main objectives: Simplify T&E user experience, reinforce T&E travel policies adoption, and apply a lean approach to simplify process and operations.

  • Manage Travel & Expense for the Geo
  • Develop and implement strategies as well as operational improvements
  • Work with management to identify and recommend updates on travel related policy and procedures to ensure consistent application of travel policy/practices and high customer service levels
  • In-depth knowledge of each specific local markets 
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to align with their specific needs and requirements (CFO, T&E department) and suppliers
  • Manage compliance to T&E policies  
  • Review all T&E spend areas and perform benchmark: make recommendations to meet KPI objectives and for reducing corporate T&E spend. Establish and implement plan of action accordingly.
  • Coordinate and align action plans with other geos and BAPS to streamline processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual presentations to provide high value analysis, program updates and action plan to Senior Management.
  • Team management (one Travel manager, and a team of expense auditors)


Your key success factors

  • Ideally Degree or Diploma with Travel specialization, Master's Degree is a plus
  • English language skills is mandator and any additional Asian language is an added advantage
  • Experience in travel management for a corporate travel department or service provider
  • Experience in project management and on online booking tool implementations
  • Excellent communication skills to non-native English speakers in a different and multiple cultural background and various seniority level within DS
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work, well-organized and reliable
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Has a strong organizational and planning skill in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment.
  • A creative mind with an ability to propose improvements
  • Proactive approach rather than reactive 
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and mediate inside and outside the organization
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Able to engage with people
  • An analytical mind with strong business acumen with customer-oriented approach
