APAC Senior Legal Counsel
Role description & Responsibilities
This role is based in Shanghai and reports to APAC General Counsel.
You’ll be responsible for the provision of legal services with respect to corporate level legal operations , initiatives and projects for Asia Pacific.
- Providing practical legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, including DS corporate matters and governance, contract management, DA -Dealer amend
- Collaborating with other legal counsel from various GEOs on legal operations and projects
- Working collaboratively with other teams to provide legal support of key strategic initiatives(eg, support on some projects in China including business project negotiation)
Qualifications
- LL.B. and/or higher legal education from a reputable law school
- 7- 10 years of related experience in law firms
- Business-oriented, solution-driven with strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Hands on experience in contract negotiations and drafting, M&A, PE/VE experience would be preferred
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
