Acquired in October 2011, Elsys expands the Dassault Systemes electrical portfolio by adding electrical schematic and diagrams capabilities with ELECTRE application. Also the integration capabilities with CATIA V5 Electrical design  is enhanced through CATELECTRE.

To handle and integrate electrical schematic with the design and manufacture of electromechanical products and systems. ELECTRE application suite integrates electrical schematic technology with the design, manufacture and lifecycle management of electromechanical systems of both onboard sectors (automotive, aeronautics, etc.) and other sectors (machines, equipment, etc).

These solutions bring a high value added in all stages of the design process thanks to a thorough understanding of onboard electrical engineering needs and full allowance for the problems of 3D wiring in both design and manufacturing. The ELECTRE application is the core of ELECTRE suite of electrical schematic solutions. ECAD & CATIA V5 Integration with CATELECTRE

CATELECTRE integrates ELECTRE and CATIA’s 3D electrical solutions in a single digital mock-up that combines the electrical and mechanical models. This comprehensive, two-way integration makes it possible to synchronize electrical schematics with the 3D mechanical environment supporting them and to update harness data using information from the 3D models. It also enriches the CATIA representation with functional information from ELECTRE, such as electrical engineering routing constraints (segregation, etc.). In this cutting-edge seamless environment, CATELECTRE provides unique features for the design and interactive engineering of electrical harnesses in the CATIA V5 3D electromechanical environment.
