	e-Store (Payment, Delivery, Support, Cancellation) What payment method can I use to buy online? We accept Visa and MasterCard. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. When will my credit card be charged? Your credit card will be charged the day after your purchase has been placed. The charge will appear on your credit card as: "DASSAULT SYSTEMES DBA" or "DASSAULT". Do I have to pay sales tax? North Carolina customers will be charged VAT (Tax) on our downloadable products at 7.5%. No tax is charged to customers in other US states. Sales tax is automatically computed before you place your order. What address should I enter in the registration form? For credit card verification, you must enter the billing address on the payment screen exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. Why are you not accepting my credit card? There are many reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit or a credit card computer, either on our end or your bank's end, may have encountered a machine error. If you do have problems, you can contact us. Please provide any error message or numbers you may have received. How to check my order status? You can check your order status and download your invoice (PDF) in your Customer Account on the e-Store in the Online Purchase / Purchases History section: www.3ds.com/my-account/online-purchases/purchase-history/ How to get my product package? In order to provide you with the best rate, download is the only delivery method on our e-store. Go to www.3ds.com/my-account/online-purchases/download-products/ You can also use a standard FTP client to download your product. Use you 3DS Passport to connect to ftp://delivery.3ds.com Your product will still be available for download as long as your license is valid should you need to re-download it for any reason. What are the Target ID and the HD Serial? The target ID and the HD Serial are code calculated on you computer. These codes identify your computer and are used to generate your license key. To get your Target ID, you should download the “i4tgtid.exe” program. To get your HD Serial, you should download the “FlexLMHostID” program. Run the software on the machine you plan to install the product. Click on “Get HD Serial”. How to get my license key? Even before your order is confirmed by the 3DS.com e-store team, you can complete your license request. Go to “Manage Licenses” section and enter your Target ID or HD Serial in the proper field. Click on Submit in the “Final Key” column. You will receive a mail notification when the license is available. Download the license file on the same page you submited your request and save it on your hard drive. You may refer to the installation guide to see how to setup the license for each product. Support 3DS.COM customers can access a support interface to submit their questions. This page is restricted to e-customers and requires a 3DS Passport. How do I cancel my order? As we do our best to process your order in the most efficient manner possible, orders placed by credit card cannot be cancelled.



	Student offers Who can order Student Edition of our products? If you're a Student currently attending classes, you can buy a Student Edition at a special academic discount. The Student is the eligible customer and orders can only be billed if he is older than 18. The 3ds.com e-Store is only available for US residents. How can I prove my student status? As indicated in our Conditions of Sales in section "2.7 Delivery", proof of academic status is necessary before you can buy our products online and before the order is validated. You must therefore upload your student ID or any acceptable forms of ID when you register. Send us your proof of academic status: Scan or take a digital picture of your student ID or acceptable forms of ID and upload it on 3ds.com site when you register to create your account. Acceptable forms of academic IDs are the following (only one is required): The student's most recent Report Card (K-12) if applicable; or Current semester/school year Student ID; or Registration Receipt for the current semester; or A Letter of Enrollment on school letterhead for the current year. When we receive it and validate it, we will accept your order and send you by email the activation code necessary for you to download and enjoy our product. 	Virtools 4 Installation Hardware and software requirements To successfully install and use Virtools, please check that you meet the minimum hardware and software: Hardware Pentium II or equivalent 64 MB of RAM CD-ROM drive Monitor capable of displaying 1024 by 768 in 16 bit color (65536 color/Hi-color) Direct3D or OpenGL compatible 3D graphic accelerator card with 8 MB of RAM Pointing device (mouse, trackball, etc.) Sound Card (not a requirement but recommended) Software Microsoft Windows (9x or higher, NT 4.0 SP6 or higher) Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher (for the Online Reference) Microsoft DirectX 5.0 or higher for DirectX compatible 3D graphic accelerator cards How to install Virtools 4 Student Edition? Once your payment and your student status is accepted, download the Virtools archive from “My Download” section. Unzip the file on your hard drive. Install your Virtools Software on the PC that was used to run the FlexLMHostID.exe, running setup.exe on the ZIP archive. Select “Next” to launch the Installation process Read last-minute information and select “Next” Enter your User Name, Company Name and Serial Number and press “Next” IMPORTANT: The Serial Number for a student license is 8eb9x7tcxb-NFR1P4064 Choose the folder where Virtools 4 will be installed and click on “Next” Choose the features you want to install and click on “Next” Select the Program folder and click on “Next” Once the installation is complete, click on “Finish” to close the windows How to install my license key? The first time you launch Virtools, choose the “Specify License File” option in the FlexLM pop up menu and select the directory which contains your license.
