Community Commitment

Dassault Systèmes is engaged in programs with local communities worldwide to enhance their capacity to improve their daily lives. To maximize the impact of these programs, 3DS works hand-in-hand with leading stakeholders in every domain, particularly national education systems and non-profit organizations... The SolidWorks Community Giving Program is an eloquent example of just how engaged Dassault Systèmes is about giving back to the community.

Employees Commitment

At all Dassault Systèmes Group companies, employees are actively encouraged to take part in local community actions or non-profit organizations which work towards local development... Programs include the ENOVIA Adopt-a-School project and DELMIA’s contribution to the “Dream-a-Dream” project in Bangalore, India.

Digital Divide

Dassault Systèmes firmly believes that technology can help improve the world we live in and is committed to leveraging the added value of our expertise to support worthy causes around the world.  For example, in conjunction with the Boston-based NGO Design that Matters (DtM), 3DS 3D software solutions were used to develop the Kinkajou Projector. The low-cost, solar-powered microfilm projector was designed for use at night time literacy courses for adults in rural regions of Africa where electricity is hard to come by.

Partnerships such as this one help reduce the digital divide between those who have access to education and technology and those who do not, as well as helping to inspire future generations of engineers who will play a decisive role in tomorrow’s world.
