Dassault Systems launched its Passion for Innovation program in 2005. The program is based on a simple guiding principle: it is often the case that outstanding ideas do not come to fruition due to lack of appropriate resources. At Dassault Systèmes, all employees are free to install CATIA on their workstation. The idea of the program is to provide this opportunity to everyone.

Dassault Systemes is pleased to welcome Big Frog in the Passion for Innovation program. The SMA engine and Nemesis airframe have both been originally designed with CATIA. What better solutions if not those from Dassault Systèmes could best integrate the first one into the second one?

Challenge and technical excellence, enthusiasm and concern for the environment: these are the values we share with the Big Frog Team and which made us gather around this project to support the team. They are now looking for new sponsorships to finalize  their budget and officially register to the National Championship Air Races in RENO, USA.

Dassault Systèmes supported the Big Frog Team with part of its solutions, typically used in industry to design and manage any type of object, from a simple bottle of mineral water to the most complex systems such as aircrafts, cars or buildings with spectacular architecture. The 3D simulation can also validate the entire chain of production (organization, sequencing tasks, ergonomic workstations...).

Only 3D design and 3D simulation now allow manufacturers to produce faster, at lower costs, while minimizing environmental impact, working on "virtual clones" of their products or their factories. The real-time 3D allows us to be more creative, more daring and to be more successful in production right from the first tests with the anticipation of the entire product lifecycle before moving on to reality.
