Product Overview
QA Report is a fully integrated CATIA V5 drafting workbench to support the prototype technical-release procedure for serial parts. It supports users by automatically generating consecutive reference numbers, so-called inspection stamps for all dimensions and other drawing specifications. The following automatic derivation of these specifications from the numbered drawing into an Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) also named First Article Inspection (FAI) report avoids mistakes and significantly speeds up the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) according to QS 9000, ISO/TS 16949, AS/EN/SJAC 9102 respectively DIN EN ISO 9001.
All drawing specifications relevant for the parts quality like dimensions, surface roughness, FD&T annotations, welding symbols, text information etc. is supported. Inspection stamps are positioned automatically and possibly without any overlapping. They are associative to the corresponding drawing element. With drawing modifications they consequently move CATIA compliant with the parent element.
General tolerance tables according to ISO 2768-1, DIN 16901 or individually defined guidelines can be assigned to linear and angular dimensions without individual tolerance indications.
The CAA conform architecture is also shown in the extensive settings and configuration possibilities which are directly integrated into the Tools/Options menu. The user interface currently supports the English, French and German language.
