Connecting Worlds with CIDEON V6-SAP xPDM interface
With the CIDEON V6 xPDM - SAP Interface, CIDEON provides a powerful, high-performance integration solution for connecting the world of SAP with the Dassault V6 PLM system landscape. The integration synchronizes parts and structures from V6 to SAP and vice versa; users can initiate synchronization on demand or fully automated in the background.
CIDEON V6 xPDM - SAP Interface supports important PLM functionalities in the Dassault environment such as parts and BOM management in V6 Engineering Central and V6-VPM (CATIA V6). On the SAP side objects in material management such as Materials, Bills of Material with associated Change Master Records, Documents and Bills of Documents including status and maturity are supported.
Bidirectional filters include or exclude Objects from the syncronisation. The Interface comes along with a powerful bidirectional mapping concept for all business Objects and its properties, parameters and classifications.
CIDEON V6 xPDM-SAP Interface Release 2.3 is available for V6 Release 2012 and later as well as for SAP from SAP ECC 6.0.
CIDEON Workspace 2013 with CIDEON V6-SAP xPDM Interface
The CIDEON V6 xPDM - SAP Interface communicates optimally with the new CIDEON Workspace 2013, which was released in February 2013. CIDEON Workspace enables easy access to various CAD systems (e.g. CATIA V6), ERP / PDM systems (SAP, SAP PLM), SAP PLM 7 and Microsoft Office, all brought together under a single user-friendly interface. The overall architecture follows the motto "Keep it simple and useful," which is reflected in particular in the simple, clearly structured operating concept. The innovative technology loads data asynchronously in the background, which ensures fast reaction times for the user during navigation.
Through the integration into the new CIDEON Workspace 2013, a huge number of enhanced features (such as "drag and drop") are available for the CIDEON V6-SAP xPDM interface. From this technical innovation different departments will benefit sustainable, such as CAD design, purchasing or production.
