Stereoscopic Effects through Anaglyph Viewing

ENOVIA VPM products* support anaglyph viewing to broaden the usage of stereoscopic rendering and deliver a realistic visual representation of complex digital models without any specific hardware requirement
  • Anybody can benefit from the stereoscopic effect with only a pair of paper glasses.
  • As color attenuation can be observed compared to stereoscopy with dedicated equipments (shutter glasses or polarizing filters), different rendering modes are proposed that balance stereoscopic perception quality versus color rendering fidelity
  • Anaglyph images are used to provide a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with glasses where the two lenses are different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, such as red and cyan
  • Images are made up of two color layers, superimposed, but offset with respect to each other to produce a depth effect
(*) Available for ENOVIA VPM Central (VPM) , ENOVIA VPM Team Central (VTC), and ENOVIA 3DLive (LIV) when viewing VPM-managed data
