Global Collaborative Innovation
V6R2013x enables CATIA® V6 mobile users to design anywhere and anytime, even when the network is unavailable, while protecting IP and maintaining data integrity with the rest of the design team. ENOVIA® VPM On-The-Go enables users to save data locally from a central repository, perform modifications and/or reviews when traveling and reconnect online to propagate local modifications to the central repository.
With V6R2013x suppliers and OEMs can rely on ENOVIA® VPM Supply Chain Collaborative Engineering for a secured and traceable data exchange process using dedicated workspaces. 3DXML files are directly sent from V6 authoring applications to a workspace Suppliers can securely access. Once the design is created or modified, Suppliers can download 3DXML files in the same workspace and data will be directly integrated into OEMs design.
V6R2013x provides Engineers and Managers with an Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM)and 3D cross highlighting to visually experience the BOM structure in 3D and better plan design changes and/or downstream manufacturing processes.
V6R2013xsimplifies the view and management of project team members’ task assignments through “My Calendar”. “My Calendar” ensures development projects stay on-schedule and on-budget by providing all project team members with a consolidated view of their task assignments and activities requiring their attention. It provides an aggregated view of project WBS tasks, risks, issues, meetings and route tasks for quick global assessment. Users’ assignments can be visualized in daily, weekly and monthly views based on task due date and start date helping to better manage priorities. From these views users can also directly access assignment properties and work on their tasks improving overall usability.
V6R2013x introduces the possibility to configure requirement definitions using product features options in addition to the already available date and product revision based effectivity. These powerful requirement configuration capabilities enable the creation of a highly coherent design through the use of a fully configured Requirement, Functional, Logical and Physical (RFLP)product definition model. This rich RFLPmodel leverages a single requirements structure and variants dictionary to manage all product or system variants.
Ready to use PLM business processes
V6R2013x introduces a new solution to manage copy creation and artwork validation aimed at Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences, High-Tech and globally to any companies dealing with packaged products. ENOVIA® Copy and Artwork Central™ and ENOVIA® Copy and Artwork Experience provide a holistic copy and artwork management solution, allowing companies and partners to manage their artwork assets as well as the artwork process while taking into account the complexities of multiple products, product variants and languages, all managed within a single repository. This solution complements existing ENOVIA® CPG Accelerator for Integrated Product Management, to connect the final artwork to the product bill-of-material, and current ENOVIA® V6 integration with Adobe Creative Suite.
V6R2013x introduces two new reporting for improved compliance to global environmental regulations. Battery reporting enables manufacturers to track and report battery usage in products by battery type and technology. WEEE reporting enables manufacturers to track and report generic or country-specific Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) content in products.
With V6R2013x, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks integrations with ENOVIA V6 are now compliant with the Rapid Application Configuration Environment (R.A.C.E.) setup for an easy, administration and deployment to production.
