DELMIA - Performance Tracker (PFT)

Displayed in a dashboard format, Performance Tracker aligns best operational practices with actual production metrics and alerts users of any drifts or inconsistencies. This reporting and ad-hoc data search capability provides access to trends and analysis such as quality levels, first pass yield, cycle time, and other manufacturing KPIs. Performance Tracker can be used as a standalone solution or can be embedded in an existing ERP manufacturing dashboard.

It helps greatly reduce the time lost on shop floor due to wrong decisions and greatly improve the efficiency from the shop floor operators.

Product Overview

Performance Tracker is a server product which offers reporting capabilities on rule application during production processes. General Managers, Production Managers and Rule Analysts can generate reports to monitor the evolution of product performance related to the application of Best Practices. These reports are based, on one hand, on rules defined by Process Rules Discovery analysts and published to the Repository and, on the other hand, on historical production data.

Two types of reports can be produced:

  • Performance Tracker Full Reports
  • Performance Tracker Basic Report

The objective of Performance Tracker is to provide reporting on the production performance. It will permit production managers to follow global performance, as well as Subject Matter Expert to follow the accuracy of their Rule Model.

Warnings on Rule Model wrong predictions
Performance Tracker reports will permit to spot very easily the discrepancies (if existing) between the Rule Model and the actual output performance.
These warnings can be used to trigger a new iteration analysis (with Process Rule Discovery) to update and improve the Rule Model in order to take into account these new situations.

Integration
Performance Tracker can be accessed through the provided default web pages and MS SQL reports or via the web application API.
Value: Easy integration with existing systems.

Performance Tracker Full Reports  (Reporting > Standard Performance Report)
Intercim has designed default report templates delivered by Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services in .ASP format. The default reports can be converted to PDF format and then distributed as necessary or shared via a portal.
Three templates designed for the following three different user profiles are provided by Intercim: General Manager, Production Manager, Rule Analyst.
Value: rely on product and checkpoint data available at the time the Performance Tracker job was run.

Performance Tracker Basic Report
Intercim has designed a sample report template delivered in HTML format. The main steps involved to  use the template and display your own data, the main steps are to defining Report Settings, Generate and View reports.
Value: product and checkpoint data available at the time the report was generated. Therefore, the rule statuses, risk values and product data displayed in the reports give a post-production view of the manufactured product.

Product Key Customer Benefits

Performance Tracker permits to close the Continuous Improvement loop by reporting on the accuracy of the Rule Model prediction. Warnings can be issued to the Subject Matter Expert, to tell them about the need to update the Rule Model (with Process Rule Discovery).
DELMIA Operations Intelligence (OI) solution, in this case Performance Tracker in conjunction with Process Rule Discovery and (typically) Operation Advisor, will provide the customer leadership with a critical toolset required to imbed quality into their new production system from its very inception.
It will enable a predictive quality environment that:
