Ergonomics at Work

Ergonomics at Work lets planners create virtual Lifelike Manikins with standard anthropometry (human body dimensions).

Description

Ergonomics at Work lets planners create virtual Lifelike Manikins with standard anthropometry (human body dimensions). They can place them into a 3D model and evaluate human interaction with a product or workplace. Ergonomics at Work delivers a wide range of manipulation and analysis tools to make ergonomics assessment accessible to all 3DEXPERIENCE® stakeholders.

Planners can create, simulate, and validate tasks performed by a lifelike human manikin. In the intuitive interface, they can easily create and simulate the way a worker interacts with a product or performs tasks in the workplace. Ergonomics at Work makes it simple to define common tasks using predefined actions such as picking up and placing objects, walking, operating a device, or using a tool.

Manikin tasks created with Ergonomics at Work can be simulated to evaluate ergonomic parameters during motion execution. It enhances simulations created with other 3DEXPERIENCE processes, enabling users to evaluate the way workers will perform tasks in the manufacturing environment.

Ergonomics at Work  is available on premise.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Groundbreaking user experience

  • Save costs by early integration of human factors in product or workplace design

  • Reduce risk of injury

  • Capture and re-use ergonomic enterprise standards

  • Switch target populations without updating tasks
