CAM

CAM is the acronym for Computer-Aided Manufacturing.

CAM is the use of software solutions for defining manufacturing operations. CAM is a programming tool that makes it possible to manufacture physical models using CAD (computer-aided design) programs.

CAM is not only a NC (Numerical Control) programming tool. CAM functions have expanded to integrate CAM more fully with CAD/CAM/CAE PLM solutions.
