The new Handyscan Scanning Module (HSM) is fully integrated with CATIA's Reverse Engineering solution. This tool allows users to go from 3D data acquisition to CAD models under one intuitive CATIA design environment. Users can achieve quick data capture (directly as meshes, no point clouds), flexible data post-treatment and manipulation, easy surface reconstruction and optimization, parametric CAD model construction and robust 3D data inspection.

No data transfer is required, which guarantees the model's integrity Plus, the single software platform need minimal investment from the client and the consistent, ergonomic and intuitive working environnement ensures a short learning curve.
