Maxis Shinto has developed a 3D-CAD knowledge-based system, Maxis Cubic, in conjunction with the University of Tokyo Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering.  Maxis Cubic is a tool that helps CAD designers improving the efficiency and quality of the design by documenting the design procedure from the 3D CAD data, to be used in the management and education of the design procedure.  

Maxis Cubic allows automatic documentation of the modeling creation process from history trees through an excel file. By reviewing and checking the modeling procedure, you can discover unnecessary or wrong steps.  By creating a procedure manual from CAD data you can easily share and communicate your modeling knowledge with other CAD Designers.

Maxis Cubic is available in Japanese only.
