CZone for Abaqus
Course Objective
CZone for Abaqus (CZA) is an add-on capability to Abaqus/Explicit that provides access to a state-of-the-art methodology for crush simulation. Based on CZone technology from Engenuity Ltd., CZone for Abaqus provides for inclusion of material crush behavior in Abaqus/Explicit simulations of composite structures subjected to impact.
By attending this half-day class you will learn how to include crushable composite structures in your impact simulations. Guidelines for defining crushable composite materials based on composite coupon and component testing will be provided, along with an introduction to the Abaqus/CAE composite layup functionality. You will learn how to incorporate crushable composite structures into your models and how to postprocess CZA analysis results.
Who Should Attend
This seminar is recommended for engineers with experience using Abaqus/Explicit. The Abaqus/Explicit: Advanced Topics and Analysis of Composite Materials with Abaqus seminars are recommended as prerequisites
