ENOVIA - Enterprise Process Definition (E-PD) is complementary product to enhance IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow. During process definition, E-PD provides process designers with utilities to import VPM P&O (People and Organization) and object definitions into IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow environment.
Having VPM object and resources information available in MQ Workflow environment allows process designers to effortlessly design an enterprise process covering both engineering-centric activities, which requires access to product and resource information in ENOVIA, with non engineering activities, such as financial information gathering from SAP, in a harmoniously orchestrated process flow. The process designers can take advantage of industry leading IBM WebSphere Business Integration (WBI) technology and MQ Messaging Services for connecting to other enterprise applications.
Process templates defined using IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow Buildtime are then deployed using ENOVIA - Enterprise Process Management (E-PM) product. E-PM exposes IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow Runtime capabilities through ENOVIA VPM Web Navigator interface for comprehensive enterprise process management in ENOVIA.
