What
Attend this one-hour webinar to learn more about using Baker Hughes' JewelSuite with Abaqus to simplify and accelerate the analysis of reservoir geomechanics.
Attend this one-hour webinar to learn more about using Baker Hughes' JewelSuite with Abaqus to simplify and accelerate the analysis of reservoir geomechanics.
This integrated solution enables rapid and consistent computation of stresses and deformations within and around hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs. A complete seismic-to-simulation workflow will be shown within the JewelSuite tool.
JewelSuite utilizes all available subsurface data to produce run-ready Abaqus simulation models seamlessly. Attend this webinar to learn how this application can be a powerful alternative to a conventional time-consuming model development process you currently use.
Dr. Wouter van der Zee is the Director of Technology Development for the Reservoir Development Services business segment at Baker Hughes. Wouter manages a team of domain experts that explores, develops and enhances technologies for reservoir software and geomechanics consultancy. He is the primary architect of Baker Hughes' JewelSuite 3D GeoMechanics software that bridges the gap between geomodeling (via Baker Hughes’ JewelSuite software) and mechanical simulation (via Dassault Systèmes' Abaqus software). Wouter also supports the geomechanics consultancy services. Before joining Baker Hughes, Wouter was employed by GeoMechanics International, a leading geomechanics consultancy and software company, since 2002 – until it was acquired by Baker Hughes in 2008. Wouter received his Ph.D. degree in Geology in 2001 from the University of Technology Aachen in Germany. He received his M.Sc. degree in Geology in 1996 from the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. Wouter authored more than 20 papers, more than 40 conference presentations and 1 patent.
