Attend this free seminar to meet SIMULIA partner, JMAG. Join us for lunch and learn about multiphysics simulations using Abaqus and JMAG for electromagnetic equipment design.
At this seminar representatives from JMAG and SIMULIA will jointly present coupled analysis examples for various applications. Examples include:
Thermal and structural analyses of electric machines
Loud speaker vibrations induced by electromagnetic forces
Thermal analysis of components undergoing electromagnetic induction heating
Material property changes through electromagnetic induction hardening
Electromagnetic simulation portion of presentation:
Introduction to electric machine design for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs)/Electric Vehicles (EVs)
Modeling electromagnetic forces and power loss in components
How and what information JMAG communicates with Abaqus
Demonstration of different analyses:
Electric machine set up for both thermal and structural analysis
Copper and iron losses in a large transformer
Electromagnetic forces generated in a loud speaker
High frequency induction heating through eddy current generation
High frequency induction hardening via temperature induced material property changes
Expected attendees include automotive employees and automotive suppliers, heavy equipment manufacturers, and electronics manufacturers.
The agenda for the day is below. There will be time allocated at lunch for open discussion.
