Product Overview
FASTELECTRODE is a solution that covers the complete EDM sinking process.
The application supports the entire process, from preparing the electrode setup to the automated design of the electrodes and their NC machining. A direct link to the shopfloor is guaranteed by several documentation and output formats, starting from ASCII up to MS-Excel sheets or CATIA V5 drawings. These documentations automatically include all necessary technological and geometrical data.
Default values and templates for standard components such as stock profiles, reference frames and holders are available.
No transfer to an external CAM system is necessary, since an efficient, template based NC programming of the electrodes is already implemented with CATIA V5 NC machining.
