By using SIMULIA’s Abaqus Unified Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineers at Hyundai are able to analyze both wiping and durability on the same computer model rather than in two separate FEA programs as they had previously done. They are able to manipulate numerous conditions to observe the subsequent effects on the wiper system and make educated design decisions based on their observations.
