For the past 20 years the household appliance market leader has relied on PLM solutions from Dassault Systèmes for the development of its world firsts.

The 3D CATIA models form the basis for all processes, from prototyping by means of stereo¬litho¬graphy, FEM calculations or toolmaking right through to production. V ZUG AG has also used the ENOVIA VPLM product line for structure and data management since 2001. This integrated PLM platform optimises design processes and creates an environment for virtual product development in 3D.
Benefici
CATIA makes an important contribution to the development of world firsts by V ZUG AG. In the area of data management, for example, individual parts from different assemblies can now be selected for loading into the CAD system, instead of the entire product. That saves time, as well as using fewer system resources.
