Multi-Contact was created by the pioneering spirit and initiative of company founder Rudolf Neidecker in Allschwil near Basel. The company achieved its breakthrough with the development of specially shaped, hard-drawn copper strips for contact elements – so called Multilam. Multi-Contact is now part of the Stäubli Group.
