DELMIA Version 6 Release 2013x

Une 3DEXPERIENCE des systèmes de production globaux, au service du développement durable

Prog & Control Engineering

Program and Control Engineering provides a suite of solutions that allow the user to virtually program, validate and simulate manufacturing systems for the virtual commissioning of production facilities.

DELMIA Ergonomics Analysis

Delivers Standard Ergonomic Analysis

DELMIA Ergonomic Analysis (EGA) builds on DELMIA Ergonomics Evaluation (EGE) by allowing users to analyze human comfort, safety, and performance factors as they manipulate the Lifelike Human manikin in the V6 3D environment. These analysis capabilities allow engineers to examine, score, and iterate whole body and localized postures to determine a person’s comfort and ability to perform defined tasks in the context of the a product or workplace design.

  • “Global” Human Modelling
  • User-specific human modelling
  • True target audience accommodation
  • Analysis of relationships between anthropometry variables
  • Posture Analysis
  • Posture assessment and optimization
  • Automatic best posture finding
  • Human Activity Analyss
  • Lifting and lowering carrying analysis
  • Quick, intuitive analysis of arm position
  • Pushing, pulling and carrying analysis
  • Biomechanics analysis
  • Modify Manikin Anthropometry
Upon user input of appropriate critical design variables, a multi-normal statistical algorithm automatically adjusts all other anthropometrics variables to create manikins that exist within the target population. This unique boundary manikin technique ensures designers accommodate their entire target population using a minimum number of manikins.
  • Standard Ergonomic Analysis
DELMIA Ergonomic Analysis provides a wide range of advanced analysis tools enabling users to accurately predict the human performance, ensure conformance to health standards and optimize the human comfort and safety. These tools include lifting and lowering carrying analysis; NIOSH 81 and 91 equations; lowering can be analyzed in terms of task duration, task frequency, lifting posture (start and finish), coupling conditions, recommended and maximum weight variables; quick, intuitive analysis of arm position; Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA); pushing, pulling and carrying analysis with the SNOOK and CIRELLO equations and pushing and pulling activities can be analyzed in terms of task duration, task frequency, pushing/pulling posture (start and finish), coupling conditions, recommended and maximum weight variables; biomechanics analysis for a single action is used for calculating the forces and moments and abdominal pressure at each of the body joints which allows the evaluation of L4-L5 spine compression and shear limits and the moment strength at the shoulder, elbow and lumbar spine joints.
