CAXA delivers integrated software solutions and services for innovative product design and collaborative data management. Its PLM (Product-Lifecycle Management) software tailors specifically to the Chinese manufacturing industries. CAXA fulfills the PLM technology and services demanded by the undergoing transformation from "made-in-China" to "innovated & made-by-China." CAXA is to become the PLM market leader in China, as well as a major provider of PLM technology worldwide.

CAXA is a well-known brand and the largest domestic CAD/CAM/PLM provider in China. Based on its mission CAXA has developed a suite of CAD/CAM products and PLM solutions to address the complete spectrum of product-lifecycle requirements, from early conceptual design, process planning, shop-floor management to post-sale services. CAXA has received numerous awards including "Best-10 Domestic Software Awards" and "Software Gold Award" from China Software Industry Association. There are more than 150,000 CAXA software installed through well-established channels throughout China, including 35 CAXA regional sales and service offices, 300 training centers and 300 business partners. More than 1,200 domestic universities and vocational schools have selected CAXA for training courses. CAXA is also the standard testing tool for many government-sponsored certificate programs.

CAXA customers mainly consist of enterprises in mechanical fabrication, assembly and tooling especially in equipment, heavy machinery, automotive, aerospace and defense industries, e.g. Haier, Lenovo, First Automotive Works (FAW), Shengu, Yantai Moon, Beijing Petroleum Machinery, Xi'an Aero-engine,QiQihar First Machine Toolworks, Dalian Locomotive & Roll Stock Works, Huanghai Bus, Yunma Aircraft, etc.

Software Partnership Value

Alliance has been a key strategy for CAXA's business model. CAXA focus on its best value-added domain expertise to develop strategic components in its solutions, and supplementing other required technology by working with world leaders in each respective field. There are two levels of CAXA technology alliance: PLM partners and 3rd party partners.

CAXA OEM technology or products from its PLM partners to be included in its solution offerings. In particular, CAXA has entered strategic alliance with DASSAULT SYSTEMES. A "CAXA-DASSAULT SYSTEMES Joint R&D Center" was established in 2004 with the mission of extending PLM value. CAXA V5 PLM is developed on top of DASSAULT SYSTEMES' CAA V5 framework and includes CATIA and SMARTEAM product components.
