Vehicle NVH (Noise, Vibration an
	d Harshness) is the terminology that describes noises and vibrations t
	hat can be heard or felt by the occupants of a car. The primary goal o
	f a NVH design is to optimize the energy absorption of the vehicle, si
	nce noises and vibrations are perceived by the customer as a reflectio
	n of the vehicle quality.
This eSeminar provides an overview of the c
	apabilities in Abaqus to perform analyses related to NVH and vehicle a
	coustics. Linear dynamics are typically employed in NVH analysis. This
	 includes in addition to the ‘classical’ natural frequency extract
	ion procedures like steady-state dynamics, random response analyses or
	 base-motion excitation and the possibility to consider material dampi
	ng or nonlinear preloading effects. For the vehicle acoustic analyses 
	Abaqus offers - among others - brake squeal analysis, sound radiation 
	analyses or coupled structural-acoustics analyses.
