MakerBot Industries is a company founded in January 2009 by Bre Pettis, Adam Mayer, and Zach Smith producing an open source 3D printer to democratize manufacturing. MakerBot is a machine that can make you almost anything.

The geeky glasses were printed during the show

This time, the 3D printing company has collaborated with menswear designer Asher Levine, to make his Spring 2012 sunglasses collection available as a "unique print-at-home accessory". Asher took the idea that anyone could anyone can build and create something nice and applied it to his collection by printing the geeky glasses DURING his show.

The famous website TechnoBuffalo was in New York for Fashion Week and caught up with MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis at the designer’s show at the New York Public Library/Jefferson Market. Watch the video for the scoop!
