Fatigue & Durability Day: Introduction to fatigue and fe-safe

This free 1 day event introduces attendees to the "how", "what" and "why" behind modern metal fatigue analysis. It begins by looking at the reasons why accurately predicting the fatigue life of your components is so important and the theoretical concepts behind fatigue. Interesting industrial examples are used to show what types of analyses can be done using fe-safe and what the technical and commercial benefits are of conducting fatigue analysis. In the afternoon, an introduction to fatigue loading is provided, followed by a software demonstration showing how to set up an analysis in fe-safe. The day ends by looking at a full workflow example showing how fe-safe fits into the SIMULIA software portfolio. By using fe-safe alongside Abaqus, Isight and Tosca, product designs can truly be optimised for durability.

Who Should Attend: Those new to fatigue or considering fatigue software;  new fe-safe Users/ SIMULIA Extended token users who have access to fe-safe but haven’t used it yet.
