Attend a free day of training on Fatigue and Durability: Getting Started with fe-safe. The cost of a similar training-day is $620, but we are pleased to make this available for free to SIMULIA customers! Refreshments and lunch will also be provided at no-cost to you.

This 1 day free event is aimed at helping new users to run their first fe-safe analysis and better understand how fatigue fits into the design process.

  • The day begins by introducing the fatigue theories that are core to the fe-safe technology: strain based fatigue and multiaxial fatigue.
  • In the afternoon an fe-safe software demonstration will walk users through a fatigue analysis, step-by-step.
  • An introduction to fatigue loading is provided, followed by a software demonstration.
  • We look at industry examples of fe-safe and a full workflow example showing how fe-safe fits into the SIMULIA software portfolio. By using fe-safe alongside Abaqus, Isight and Tosca, product designs can be truly optimized for durability.
  • The day ends by looking at some advanced functionalities of fe-safe such as TURBOLIFE, Verity and fe-safe for rubber.

About the Presenter

Jaehwan Choi joined SIMULIA in 2004 after getting his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University’s Engineering Mechanics program. He has worked on a number of projects including automation of automotive catalytic converter simulation workflow and statistical mechanical properties extraction of the materials for MEMS devices. He has more than 25 years of experience in CAE. He also has expertise in automotive body and chassis structures’ strength and durability assessments due to more than 10 years of experience working for Hyundai Motor Company in Kor
