SHoP: Collaborating in the Cloud for Architectural Design & Construction Integration on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

SC (SHoP Construction) is a multi-disciplinary AEC Services firm that develops and utilizes sophisticated digital tools to ascertain and control cost, ensure quality and de-risk construction activities.  Our core services include Pre-construction Analysis, Façade Consulting and Engineering, BIM-VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) Consulting and Construction Management.  We perform our range of services for institutions, developers, architects, construction managers and sub-contractors.  Our team is comprised of field experienced construction managers, engineers, architects and technologists who collaborate to solve complex problems for our clients.

Our approach is grounded in our confidence that transparency, thoughtful analysis and orchestration of information results in clear decision paths and efficient project delivery.  We are sensitive and responsive to the needs of all stakeholders and respect the efforts and intent of the design team.  Through deep analysis and transparent collaboration, we strive for efficiency and quality.

SC is dedicated to industry transformation through innovative practice.

Using Dassault Systemes’ CATIA software, the firm specifies the design, fabrication and assembly of unitized building parts which are then integrated (virtually) as part of the pre-construction process.  SC’s participation in and support of the Lighthouse program aims to further explore the capabilities of the system in its application to the AEC industry while also assisting with ongoing efforts to advance future software and technologies.
