The V+R backpack
Dassault Systèmes was looking for a walk simulator to do virtual reality and decided to use The Virtusphere as a prototype of walk simulator created by Ray Latypov at the end of the 90’s. Basically, it’s a 2.6 m diameter ABS plastic hollow sphere equipped with a movement tracker. Wearing a head-mounted display, user scan step inside the sphere to fully interact in immersive virtual environments. Read more about this case
